I'll look for you this weekend. What colour is the R1?
The only danger with going really low is the pipe headers and sump. You'll see on other threads mention of different sumps to get the thing lower. And you can go sidewinder pipes to minimise the space they take up under the engine. But go for much harder fork springs though as even a small wheelie can result in damage to headers and worse, the sump plug.
Lowering links on the Busa are dead easy to make, straight pieces of 6mm plate, and for drag racing, steel is fine I'd suggest until you get it all sorted. Never tried the adjustables.
Not sure who has the best prices on PCIII, but plenty of sellers on the forum.
