Thanks for the replies.
Maybe our fuel in SA is better as we haven't had any good rains since the 50's......
I've got 5K kms on my bike now, so I'll start saving for the new pump and filter.
I suppose if i never wind mine up over 7 or 8000rpm, I'll never notice anyway...

Maybe thats the problem the fuel never get running fast enough to loosen what would normally be burned in the combustion chambers? A perfect excuse for speeding....Sorry officer... Suzuki recommends speeds in excess of 280 klm/h to clean the fuel system out.
Smoke me a kipper I'll be home in time for breakfast

Hmmm installed a new pump and tea-bag filter , flushed and cleaned everything.. the pressure and volume were vastly increased.. BUT it didnt solve the problem.. Still dies at 7000 rpm.. ????????wtf

The Busa is all fixed now.. the problem was the secondary injectors were not working .. cleaning and flushing and a bit of tapping them on the work bench free'd them up .. pulls like a train to redline.. :)
