Track Days @ Eastern Creek
Yes Pan, I gave my son a ride on mine , he looked before he braked for turn 1 ,and it was reading over 280, also a friend of mine who is a A grade racer said he also was well over the 280 mark, he also comented, that was the fastest he has ever gone on the E/Creek straight and he has raced a GsxR1000 superbike in the Ozzy superbikes. Saw about 260 yesterday.

Today I took my left hand off the bars and rode 1 handed all the way through turn one at 150.

Superbike school level one today was great value for money there were heaps of things I have always been doing wrong.

Doing level two tomorrow. Bruce

Ray, very good, rain held out 'till the last lap of my sessions. There were only three of us in my group. Picked a few pointers. Now I can put them to practice on my PRIVATE RACE TRACK, Ray.

Man, wot a day

Hav nevr had so much fun on the bussa. If I got a good run out of turn 12 I was just hitting 280 before backing off into turn one. My best speed exiting turn one was just under 180 - Cool!

Cant wait for the next session - Im in.

Hell yeh! I can't wait too. Hope I have my bike back soon.
Do you get feedback about lap times at all? Is there a way to measure your lap time on your own?

Well I did California superbike school level 2 yesterday, again money well spent we concentrated mainly on perception and control of visual fields. Only down side was it pissed down all day not very comfortable at all lapping eastern creek at speed practicing new techniques in a torrential downpoor wearing soaking leathers.

I initially doubted their ability to teach when the instructor fell off on the second lap - he did crash in a skillful uncontroled manner . Didnt I give him shit all day.

I'll give it a few weeks for all of this new onfo to sink into my thick skull and then book in for levels 3 and 4.
I should have done this twenty years ago. Bruce

So I mounted a handycam under the hump on the Bussa, then connected it to a bullet camera on the fairing. Footage comes out ACE - just like on the telly.

If you remember to turn on the date and time feature (mine also shows seconds) you can work out your lap times quite easily.

For my last 2 sessions, I was running pretty much every lap a consistant 2.02. with two laps at 1.59 and one lap at 2.04.

Go get a handycam boys.

Yep, no worries. am getting a DVD burner shortly for my PC. A fair amount of it came out shity, but i've worked out why. Probly better for me to make a DVD from my next trip to the Creek (now ive got a better idea what I am doing.)

So, when we all goin next.?
