I've had some crap get up inside the dust seal and this crap has caused the fork seal to start leaking and has also scratched the fork tube. You can catch a finger nail in it.
Spoke to Suzuki in Canberra today. $927.49 for a new inner fork tube, but they now only come in black and mine are gold. So I would need to get both the left and right inner tubes so my bike don't look shit. $1855.00
Only $1269 to get 2 of them shipped in from the US.
I think I have caught it early enough that the scratching will be able to be polished out and with a good clean up, new seals, etc I might have saved myself a shit load of money.

I did think of that, or putting the complete Ohlins K8+ forks in.
But considering the internals in my forks have been upgraded for my weight, I have just put new brakes etc on my K6, and I may be able to save my current fork leg.

I've been looking at Gen2 front ends on US Ebay.
Less than your price for a single fork tube.
Few ASF guys have bought complete US front ends.

I am really surprised that someone would buy the parts at their local Suzuki dearer
There are few complete sets of brand new OEM front forks with bottom tripple clamp and steering damper for $450 the lot
Same set went last week for $400(!) so now they've increased the price. Shipping is $150 but still that cheaper than a single tube
Got it on my watch list if you need a link let me know.
Cheers,

After looking at the Gen2 front ends on eBay, I would also need to get Gen2 calipers, disks, pads. These items need also to be factored in.
Maybe it's time to just sell mine for parts.
