Never good to hear this sort of info...best of luck with the healing mate.....I think it's that model Busa, I had the exact same bike and it decided I shouldn't ride it anymore on Old North Road? (south of Wollombi).....just take your time and get yourself mobile again (on ya feet I mean) and I hope everything goes your way during rehab.

Yep, that was me guys...I highsided into the armco on OPH.

I haven't had the pleasure of meeting any of you fine folk but thanks for all the well wishes, it means a lot.

Back at home after 9 days at RNSH. 1 broken vertebre, 2 fractured vertebre, 3 broken ribs, a bruised lung and a bruise on the brain.
2 rods and 8 screws in my back for the next 6-9m. I can walk but only a few meters before I have to sit down, lots of physio and rehabilitation to come.
In a lot of pain and discomfort but extremely lucky to come out of this without paralysis and only a tiny graze on my hip due to wearing full gear.


Unfortunately, that is it for me and riding, I have put my family through hell in the last week and it would be selfish of me to continue riding. Besides, next time the Dr's say I will not be so lucky...

Glad to hear your'e up and about mate always bad to hear a fellow rider down.

All the best Physio takes a while but just take your'e time.

You are one lucky man...even though you might not think so at the moment.
( I can sympathise with the back Rhino.....did mine just over 4 years ago).
Have paitience with the recovery mate, a lot of it has to do with your mindset....
try to stay as positive as possible.
