The bike is my daily fine weather commuter. What you loose over the 60f trying to hold it down you would gain in top end speed I would think

if its anything like glenns then its not just the 60 to worry about

Thanks Grunt I got the same info about the oil pump ie "leave it stock" from Leonard a while back and thats what she will stay
The build is just waiting for the head to arrive, once it turns up it wont take long for Leonard to get it all assembled. I NEEEEED HEAD! Gotta get it together soon to give me time to take it up to Pete in QLD for tuning. If I run out of time to get her ready I'll have to dust off the Turbo and get her registered for the Busa bash in December. The poor old black/purple has only been started a few times (show off burnouts in the driveway) in the last 16 months.

With the amount of horsepower there it would be fully sick!!! Your turbo would rock!!!
Good weather, good woman, good road, good bike, good-bye!!

Bear in mind most turbo motors have the oil cooler removed and hence the flow restrictor that forces the oil through the cooler is also removed.Once this is removed theres MUCH less restriction for the oil pump to pump against, hence more flow.If you then add a high volume oil pump gear i,m not surprised it then drains the sump at high revs.If you have a motor with an oil cooler fitted and the restrictor in place the flow rate wont be as great hence giving a better chance of oil still being in the sump.Stock oil pressure relief valve blows off at 115psi,i tested it.

Pete first choice would be to ride there but at this time of year i can't get away from the farm unless its bucketing rain on that weekend (sure i would be popular if i turned up and brought the rain :) ) , also the dyno is under tired for the weight of the drum, planning a second axle , so only for local stuff at the moment :(

Ignore the dyno plan Maj, we'd love to see you if you can get away. Bring the bloody bike!

Love to be there and catch up with everyone Heidi, And if i can get away it will be on short notice , basicly chuck on the leathers fill the tank and go..
