It has a particularly good pub, not that that will help the decision making process......

Tarthra is a beautiful spot. Been there a couple of times. If it makes it to the short-list, I'll be voting for it.

tathra is a great place,i lived in bega for a year and use to do all the roads in the area,i did a bit of courier work among other things.even the road from bega to tathra is fun.its tar on the coast road up to bermagui now,the pub has the best t bone steaks you,ve had in your life(angus beefDrool) there was a restaurant on the beach in the old surf club building which is pretty cool too.if it was timed with when the candelo markets are on that would be great too,(the best little buy anything market ive ever been to).

south coast is ok by me, be great to hear from the Qlders and Vic,s etc to see what they think.....be great to have at least four to chose from but even more importantly a great turn out with people from all over Australia!
I'd rather be riding my Hayabusa thinking about God than sitting in church thinking about my Hayabusa

This is still the list of suggestions that will turn into a poll, don't get confused. We have two weeks to make as many suggestions as you want and then we will collapse them into a poll of four. If you have a good idea Humm let's hear it! The more ideas the better!!

I'm happy to take out any posts that are not either a suggestion or an indication of support. It will clean the thread up and might make it less confusing. What do we think?

Based on admin advice and member PMs, I'm having a clean up in this thread so it is less confusing. Any posts not directly related to a suggestion or a clear sign of support for a suggestion will be removed. We want to keep the thread as productive as possible.

Done. I've kept all suggestions and expressions of support or comment, I've removed posts that didn't add to the debate.

Keep the suggestions coming in people, the more ideas we have, the better.

You just want the long straight roads and the smell of salt.
You're an addict . . .go on admit it. . . it all get easier when you admit you have the problem.

Tathra Pub is an awesome venue. Been there for New years eve.
Not sure it's a good venue for this though.

Sorry just re-read thread. Obviously don't know as many of the roads around there as I thought.
In the end I'm just a follower. - the date is all I need to know!!! and is the difference between going and not going!

This will probably get deleted Lol3 yes i have a problem , so do the Silverton pub guys , they have the 20 ft long leyland v8 bike

seriously though .. if brokenhill was a reasonable option except for security it would be far safer at Silverton and only 23 kms from Brokenhill.. personaly i have no probs wherever the gathering is held its the time of the year that will be my yay or nay, i would ride to Brusselton if it were there in Sept or Feb
