I'm still keen to give it a go, I just have to tie it in with my ANDRA season.
Which if things keep going the way they have I might give the drags away, and just do salt, I will know for sure next friday.

I remember a certain trip up Buckets Way on the way to Ginger's Creek. There were about half a doz of us sittin' on the "big three oh oh" in a pack at one stage.

Not that hard on a bunch of 'busas.

(all responsible riders of course)

cheers,

Ward.

Never hit the big 300 but managed 285kph, hit a dip and got air time. The 2 guys in the skyline that I blew away hit there heads on the roof on the same dip at 180kph.

But I have done just under MACH1 in an F111.(approx 1150kph) at 200 feet. If thats any consolation!

Cheers Fords

That must be a Buzz.

Most of us have flown and have been around 0.85Mach BUTTTTTTTT not at 200ft. It must become very real. I remember holidaying in Scotland and the jet fighters would swoop thru the valleys at very low altitudes and so fast.
You take the TOP GUN award

Now , how do I become a passenger

Hey Fords,
I'm an ex RAAFie, Fighters and P3Cs.
Maritime patrol around the Malacca straits was a real Buzz.
Low level passes along the Iron Highway scares the shit out of the crewies when they venture out on deck.
We also unwittingly buzzed a village at tree top level near Honiara in the Solomon's about 20 years ago and the poor natives turned white.
Busa is the next best thing hey?
