1397cc and 5mil Crank Grinds.....
#1
Ok boys and girls of the performance industry who in

Australia can bore out a 1300 to make it a 1397 and replate

the bores and who does the offset grinds for the stock crank

Just got a price on a 1460cc Muzzys drop in kit not bad

but can't quite strech the buget that far just yet

Gazza, who did you say that did your 1st block and it was done

here in OZ yes. Or should I just bite the bullet and get one

from the States ( U.S )

Your thoughts, Busa owners of Australia

.........and any one else that has any ideas

( and a turbo is out of the Question ref A N D R A rule book

and class for A/SB. no turbos or happy gas )

Fat busa, I dont understand when you said "I cant quite stretch the budget".
With these sort of big bore kits I think your budget will need to be pretty rubbery-I hear of a lot of failures untill you workout all the gremilins.

But I here ya when you talk about Andra and their pre-historic rules. I supose you have also ditched the EFI or is that ok so long as you dont add a power commander?

The US would be my first stop unless someone here is actually producing results with their motors.

Talk is cheap especially in OZ ask to see results (not doctored dyno sheets)

Best of luck mate.

Thanks for the links, Gazza I got in touch with that one

that was for sale on the U S site he is going to find out how

much shipping will be to get it here.

Blackkat MPE in Brisbane can remap your stock EFI to get

around that rule. Still sucks that I can't go to the track

and have a play with my lap top

Thanks again.................

Maj750t Thanks for that link to the US Busa club.

Looks like I'm going to get that one for $750+ $50 to $100 US

For shipping sounds a bit to cheap for shipping but that was

the quote he gave me through USPS shipping.

Will a second hand block+pistons get sluged with GST and

import duties, A mate of mine says no any ideas.

Garry dose that sound right to you

Will look at doing an A P E 5mil crank in a few more months

Can't wait till I get it all togther and go for a Squrit

If those freight charges are ok it won't be to much

to do my crank. Not as bad as I thought

Thanks Guys...........Richard and Nina. F. B. R. 1347

Richard , just depends on what USPS service they quote and how the guy wants to charge you for "handling and packaging" on top.

request tracking # if poss and confirmation of shipping receipt.
