Organising a ride with a couple of mates from Hervey Bay to Monteville, Meeting at Gympie, on Sat the 6th Sept, not sure what time yet, but will update you all the week before ride.

Going to Montville the back way, then hopefully TimF is going to take us round Mt-Glorious in the same day (if it's not too far- never been)

So all you sunshine coast, Brisbane, or Gold Coast riders, or all those in-between, keep the 6th free, and see if we can get a good number on the road. No set destination, just a good day of riding. Always keen to ride new roads, and finish the day safe at home.

PM me, if you want to meet us anywhere specific on the route down.

The below no longer applies as the Bris/Esk run has been cancelled I believe.

Ah crap just noticed this conflicts with the Bris/Esk run... perhaps should just tag along to their ride that weekend mate + reschedule this one? Whadya reckon?

Just saw that, then read that it had been cancelled. So you coming up to the bay first then? Any others that were doing the esk run, more than welcome!! Lets' Ride!!!

Yeah mate all going well I'll be doing the run from Brisbane to Maryborough on Friday night (05-09-2008).

That way I can join the ride early on.

For anyone who might be interested in coming along:

Friday 05/09/2008 Departure: 3.15pm.
Brisbane to Hervey Bay
A few of us are staying the night at a motel on the esplanade, works out $40 each.

Saturday 06/09/2008 Departure: 7.30am
Hervey Bay to Paradise Dam, Montville/Maleny, possibly Mt Mee, return to Brisbane.

Sunday 07/09/2008 Departure: whenever
Mount Glorious, Nebo, Somerset Dam
A couple of the boys from Hervey Bay haven't done these roads before and are keen to have a look.

Was a good time m8ee but damn it was a slow/wet run out of brisbane on friday night.

We managed to clock up 1000klm return.
