Monteville Ride/ Mount Glorious? - Busa Greavett - 25-08-2008 Organising a ride with a couple of mates from Hervey Bay to Monteville, Meeting at Gympie, on Sat the 6th Sept, not sure what time yet, but will update you all the week before ride. Going to Montville the back way, then hopefully TimF is going to take us round Mt-Glorious in the same day (if it's not too far- never been) So all you sunshine coast, Brisbane, or Gold Coast riders, or all those in-between, keep the 6th free, and see if we can get a good number on the road. No set destination, just a good day of riding. Always keen to ride new roads, and finish the day safe at home. PM me, if you want to meet us anywhere specific on the route down. Brisbane to Hervey Bay A few of us are staying the night at a motel on the esplanade, works out $40 each. Saturday 06/09/2008 Departure: 7.30am Hervey Bay to Paradise Dam, Montville/Maleny, possibly Mt Mee, return to Brisbane. Sunday 07/09/2008 Departure: whenever Mount Glorious, Nebo, Somerset Dam A couple of the boys from Hervey Bay haven't done these roads before and are keen to have a look.
