If you haven't used a jig i sure hope the initial weld didn't pull the centre off centre or out of square.

I did make sure it was centered. I used feeler gauges to ensure equal gap between the centre and outside pieces at the three points. Tacked it a three points then rechecked clearance and welded then rechecked. I will still check for run out on a dial gauge when I get my heavy springs to put in.
There is no strong performance without a little fanaticism in the performer

With heavier springs its a good idea to reinforce the slave cylinder mounting or else it may give.

That one is definately on the list of things to do. has anyone made their own supports??
