Just wondering what peoples thoughts are on the various bike shops? Any recommendations? What about ones to avoid?
Over the years I've had so many bad experiences (eg, picking up my bike only to find scratches and/or other damage that wasn't there before), that I became convinced that if you want the job done properly... you have to do it yourself, and so I've

Being a Honda person from way back I used Reg Jeffrey in Ferntre Gully for years and never had a problem.
When I bought the 'busa I went next door to BTX. In the last year they have been great - even wash the bike after any work eg service and I have never had a problem. They are doing recall no 2 for me next wednesday
kvel: Do you not have faith in the dealer where you purchased the beast? What city are you in? Although a long queue for the work at the moment (a lot of recalls...), I have never had a problem with the work of Action Melbourne.
Opps. Should have mentioned I was in Melbourne.
The dealer I purchased from (Melbourne Suzuki) is no longer in business (and even if they were I would stay away - long story).
Anyway, BTX sounds like a great place.
