Best place to get recall work done? - kveldulv - 04-11-2000 Just wondering what peoples thoughts are on the various bike shops? Any recommendations? What about ones to avoid? Over the years I've had so many bad experiences (eg, picking up my bike only to find scratches and/or other damage that wasn't there before), that I became convinced that if you want the job done properly... you have to do it yourself, and so I've Not sure what happened to the bottom of my post - kveldulv - 04-11-2000 The last part is supposed to read: ...and so I've done all the work on my bikes for the last six or so years. However, Suzuki won't just give me a recall kit to install myself - which is why I'm asking. When I bought the 'busa I went next door to BTX. In the last year they have been great - even wash the bike after any work eg service and I have never had a problem. They are doing recall no 2 for me next wednesday Re: BTX - demeester - 06-11-2000 kvel: Do you not have faith in the dealer where you purchased the beast? What city are you in? Although a long queue for the work at the moment (a lot of recalls...), I have never had a problem with the work of Action Melbourne. Re: BTX - kveldulv - 06-11-2000 Opps. Should have mentioned I was in Melbourne. The dealer I purchased from (Melbourne Suzuki) is no longer in business (and even if they were I would stay away - long story). Anyway, BTX sounds like a great place. |
