@Raz80.
Spamming may be exactly right.
Since I signed up I have been hit with about 30 spam mails that I never used to get.
I foolishly opened and read the confirmation Email that was sent to me to confirm my "signature". In reality it was to confirm a legitimate Email address for spamming purposes.

I don't want to put anyone off signing up but I warn about reading the confirmation email sent to you. I suggest you simply stick it straight in the rubbish bin or better still add it to your "Junk Email" list.

Hang on, hang on, let's get the full story here and not go off half cocked.
CHC helicopters is certainly a Canadian company but the Australian section of the company is the old Adelaide based Lloyd helicopters who were purchased in 1998 by CHC.
Locally, nothing has changed. They still have the same pilots, engineers and admin. staff, still with their head office in Adelaide.
Who do you think operates the Victoria police helicopters? How 'bout the RAAF helicopters at Sale, Latrobe and Williamtown? That's right CHC.
Who do you think operates a lot of the helicopters fire bombing the bushfires in Victoria and NSW? Right again CHC.
Careflight has done a fantastic job over the years in providing a competent helicopter rescue service in NSW but as in all govt. contracts they come up for tender every few years.
I assure you if CHC got the nod over Careflight it would have been all about the bottom line.
I flew for Lloyd / CHC helicopters for over 17 years. They are as professional and competent as any helicopter operator in Australia.
Sign the petition by all means if you feel strongly enough about the issue but make sure you have all the facts before you do.

Regards
Chopper
