Hmmm, I'll have to catch up with Brett and book some dyno time. Need to get that nitrous kit fine tuned for my Gen II!
I'm giggling already.

Hey Camel how ya been still busy as usual I spose... Are you setting the throttle up with micro switches for the Nitrous to come in or the old button trick?? Seen a Gixxa 11 set up like that so when you hit full throttle in comes the Oh My God instant HP... now that thing looked wicked on the dyno they had major issues trying to keep the arse end strapped down. 115HP basically stock motor and when the Nitrous came in would jump it up to 185HP if memory serves me correctly very quick... and boy could he ride this thing so would hate to think what a Nitrous injected Busa would go like

Hey Kev, going well, getting the place ready for an enormous audit (11 auditors coming).
Mode switch my good man! But I have no fear, because my Busa looks STOCK!

Sorry to bring up the old tread. I am located in Perth.
I got quote $700 to flash my gen 2 busa, seems a lot, is it worth it on my relatively stock busa (just a danmoto slip on)? Is there anyway can be done cheaper in wa?

Flashed - on a dyno?

Hey Connorl I had mine Flashed on a Dyno and was round that figure and was very happy with the results but I also have a 4-2-1 Full Yoshi System with a K&N Filter and picked up 15rwhp so can't complain about that. As Camel mentioned is the Flashing being done on a Dyno ?? if so sounds about right if not I'd be a bit concerned.. Who's doing the Flashing for you if you get it done as there's not too many over this way...

Yes. I need a dyno.

Tokoyo Motorsport price me $700.
Yes it's on dyno, peak hp isn't what I concern the most, the thing I want is mid range power. Not sure if it is worthwhile to flash the ecu when I only got slip on, no Plans on further mods. I am from more of the car modify background, tuning my car on dyno was less than $500. But I guess demand supply relationship applies here. Connor you won't go wrong with Brett at Tokyo Motor Sports that's who did my bike and is a straight up guy and he doesn't baffle you with bullshit. The down side of flashing the ECU is that it's a little bit time consuming when doing it on the Dyno but other than that I would think that you would be happy, my bike runs so crisp since having it done and I wouldn't mind playing some more but either way I'm happy. If your only putting slip-ons on then you do have the option of bench flashing the ECU which Pete from Pete's Pitstop does at a fraction of the price, you could always ask Brett if he's able to do that as I know that he talk's with Pete as well about all the Flashing etc. A couple of guys on the Forum here in W.A as well as several other members have taken there ECU's out of there bikes and sent then east to get the Bench Flash done and they we both very happy. Anyway hope this helps out and connor have you read the thread on our little run down Sth next year.. http://www.australian-hayabusa-club.com/...?tid=19070 Camel you need a Dyno.... imagine the playing we could do
