Still comfortable this many years down the track. Have worn various other styles of boot along the way that have not gone the distance but these remain a constant, durable, comfortable and (when given a clean) still good looking and presentable enough to be worn as general footwear.
I've still got a jacket from about the same vintage that I CAN still wear, but only on the rare occasion that it gets cold enough to need a leather. (The joys of NOT living down south as I did previously)
Because it never gets worn, I guess it will last a long while yet?

That's a bugger that they aren't around any more (the boot maker not the milk bar). I know these boots will expire eventually one day and finding a replacement just won't be the same.

For good boots go for a blast up the Brisbane Valley Hwy, or from the north side go the D'Aguilar Hwy. Not too far past the BV Hwy & D'AG Hwy intersection the road heads around a right sweeper & over a bridge. (Servo on the left side) Just as you go over the bridge on the right there is a driveway with a pair of boots hangin on a pole. Best damn boot maker you'll find in Qld. There's a road off the the left just before the bridge. I think it's called Emu Creek Rd.

I'll keep them in mind next time I head out that way. Will make the time to stop and have a look.
