Here are some photos
Only damage to the side case is visible and it is the starter clutch housing. Motor runs and sounds just fine.
Cheers
I see where the $12K is now....parts are so expensive and if the frame has a little scratch on it....thats it
Thankfully the frame, forks or swingarm are unmarked. It is purely cosmetic (plastics) damage.
Cheers
email sent tim. cheers revit. black does look good.
Shit mate if the frame's not damaged I'd repair it... Oh wait I just did mine I got a quote for repairs ignoring the fact that it was a financial write off and it came in at just over $19,000. more to repair than to buy a new bike aparently but i was attatched to it and I'll be stuffed if I was letting anyone have my busa. She's ugly at the moment but once the paint is done it'll be better than new and I now know the bike inside and out
even with this damage the rebuild didn't cost too much( people on this board helped me more than I can say). it just took a bit of time (4 months) I'd buy yours myself if I had any spare cash left.

yeah I was thinking about 4g would get that bike up to perfect condition esp since the frame & everything is ok.
12k my arse thats just coz suzuki quote a grand for each side pannel, 1600 for the upper front nose cone, 500 for the front fender & I think I was quoted 1300 for the rear plastics - thats all painted & stickered total for that was 5400.
Of course add in the brackets you need & other small things that can be replaced with bling parts which are sometimes cheaper then OEM....you can see where they get the 12k with labor in as well.... but I'd fix it if I were you mate ;) then you know ya bike inside out ;)
"Busa riders always count in three's.... 100, 200, 300"
Ahh well, new bike ordered. Have decided to go to the dark side and get the 2007 Black bike. Now to decide if I wanna go stainless Yoshi again or carbon for the 'stealth' look lol
Busa still available, until I pick the new bike up in 10 - 14 days time.
Cheers
Tim,
I've tried selling your bike to a guy, don't know if he's called. Ray's his name.
Let me know where it ends up if you don't mind. I'd like to get the lower fairings as track day stuff.
Cheers
go the carbon tim and all so if you do grill mesh again i think that is avalible in black plus a dark smoke screen REGARDS ROD

Great choice Tim!
You can also "black chrome" things that aren't black!
As far as cans, maybe even black-chrome some Staintunes!
