Easter petrol prices

Such short sighted greed too. Everything is affected by the cost of fuel so the cost of living spirals up...won't take much for our economy to stall....economic experts my bum! just a bunch of greedy 'a' holes

I'm still paying $1.47 for regular here on the base. Trouble is, the storage tanks have been through two major floods so it's a gamble as to whether your pumping your tank full of rust or not. Depends on how full their storage tanks are. Other than that, nearest servo here is 20 km away. Or about two and a half minutes on the Busa.... :)

P.S. I won't get into the government debate. I have my views/opinions but am restricted to serving whoever is in power. Probably the biggest downside of a career in Defence. Plus, my wife is serving in Afghanistan until October so as long as the government brings her home safely, I am a happy camper.

Have a nice easter all. Keep the shiny side up.

You are 100% correct. Have a look what a Fisherman or Farmer pays for his diesel compared to pump prices. No, it is not just the 10% GST off.
About 47% Customs & Excise tax off. Every time the price of oil goes up, the Government makes a shitload. So, your all paying about twice as much as you should be. The only reason that Pommie Immigrant bitch Gillard didn't bring in Carbon Tax on Petrol was because she'd loose too many votes. But all the farmers & commercial transport diesel vehicle operators will be paying Carbon Tax on Diesel, so all your food bills will skyrocket, from actual farming food production costs, to transport of all the food to the supermarkets. Oh don't worry, she'll "compensate" you by making you all fuc*in starvePi_thumbsdownPi_thumbsdownScary

Well saidPi_thumbsup Unfortunately in this country all we do is bitch but dont do anything about it. In some foreign countries its the norm to protest, smash, burn and destroy things until the government is overthrown. Wonder how much more ass f*&^ing we will endure before we actually put our words into action.......Someone pass me the vasoline, its time to lube upScary
Sorry, to many hydracarbons wasted in the production of your vasolene there mate. Try KY. Police
Some of us have bitched in writing via the correct channels, but at the end of the day, the price of fuel will always increase.
This is the total answer for all of Australia's commercial operators, however we (all Auzzie political parties) are in too much of a hurry to sell it off to the Chinese for Nickels n Dimes. You seen Fukishima recently ? That is China's alternative, however, they can get it off Russia that's next door to em. Russia has the largest reservoirs on earth, then Qatar, then us. The Indos are now considering building a few Fukishima power stations.

We had a bloke on tv (NZ) last week saying with this crisis in Iran fuel prices will more than likely go up this week but they will probably come down next week if the other oil countrys pull together gee up before easter down after easter they must think we,re all stupid. That shows even the media are ruled what they are told to say to try and justify us being shafted once again. Plus this guy said we not that bad off we are only 15cents a litre behind australia we are $2.26 a litre for 95 octane and about $2.36 for 98.
A hoax ?
