Clutch line fluid & clutch slave cylinder
#1
So has anyone swaped their gen1 clutch slave cylinder
For a late model 07 or '11 parts box
If you look at all gen1's the slave cylinder parts change
As mine is an '01 ...

Suzuki had added a rubber dust seal on the '07
Then took it away on the '11 -but added a cover plate to some-not all ..

As I'm servicing this area to stop all the road grim
From travellin past the slave cylinder-past the inner rubber seal
& up through the clutch line to the handle bar lever reservior-

-any ideas or just continue with '07 kit with outer rubber seal +
outer cover plate with the hole in it for push pin mechanism
To clean up clutch system...

as always if you accept this challenge -advisable alcohole may cum your way

You can use 1 of these with a Gen1 motor, and Gen2 Clutch Slave Cylinder fitted in it, however, you will have to change the Gen1 motor's gear shift shaft cover to a Gen2's.Coolsmiley

Gen2 Sprocket Cover

You will have to confirm yourself 1st before spending the $$$$s.

Slave cyl assembly is bolted into the cover, should push out by hand once unbolted, at worst a tap with a screwdriver handle to loosen it

Corbin, maybe you should not do it yourself Undecided to avoid damaging something, as you are very keen on that hammer don't you Lol3
Do not forget to use new brake fluid and the copper gaskets once all is assembled.
Hope it will go well for you and you be ready for the weekend at Wardie's Pi_thumbsup
