Nice looking tank there FF1, how long does that last for and how much does it carry. With my project getting big on the horizon I may need to put one under the rear seat hump.
They say on the website you can use it on N/A engines, ie not turbocharged. What's the point really, OK you get clean cylinders but after that, nothing........
Turbo, on the other hand, may be of use....

I think in Summer you would feel it. Maybe the compression will come up a bit too. If you give your bike heaps, water injection will prob help protect and keep things clean. I read that it prevents eliptical valves over time, which is a bonus for those out there that love it in the red. But I could be wrong.
Anyway... I need some help. My kit arived and I am halfway through the install. How far from the turbo should the injector be? Appartly its not that important but i dont wanna f**k it up.

From comments on other sites i would look to place the jet ~ 300mm before the plenum , supposed to give it enough time to evaporate and cool .But then again i'm putting the water direct shot down the throttle bodies on my racebike (after the intercooler) trying to get the anti detonation without robbing airspace. My streetbike has the jet ~150 mm from the plenum , as that was the conveniant place to fit it.
Graham, Dennis at Suzukihayabusa.org has a nice underhump water container for~$65usd , i would have brought one except my underhump area resembles an electronic nightmare and i'd rather keep it dry.

Maj you should be the boards (or one of) technical adviser.
Solve this one?
Since we swapped our fuel filter. My fuel guage has been reading low. 3/4 at a full tank. Due to your 02 filter being around 10 mm longer than my 02 filter???
So what you say? Well I ran out of fuel on Thursday! The Misses shows up with the can of 2 stroke! Not the can of petrol I asked for! I won't bore you all with the details...............
Now how do I get my fuel guage to read as before? Bend the arm that holds the float? Kick the bike? No that doesn't work, I tried that!
Your help (advise) needed...
Otherwise, the bike is running sweet...

Thread Hijacker!!!
How about replacing your fuel pump and filter assembly with one of the non riding victorians. Hell, tank range aint an issue for them

All care and no responsibility
You would have to remove the tank, empty it ,with the wiring connected and key on . Turn the tank upside down and check the gauge,if its not full then remove the sender and bend the arm a little at a time till it reads full and empty with some accuracy, filter height may make the difference or the arm may have been bent slightly with the r&r.

Nearly got it up and running.
Have been way too lazy this wkend.
All done! Well im real happy with the turn out. Went together easy enough and she felt better on full throttle. It was a bit warm today so I could feel the difference.

Thats good , nothing like a peace of mind when you never know what the fuel quality is like
If you get a chance to compare water and not on the dyno post the results, be interesting
