Battery Trickle Chargers - fireman73 - 29-05-2009 Hi, My battery goes weak due prolonged periods of not running the Bike. Battery is 1 year old Yuasa YTZ14. The charge rate on the bike is fine. Allot of you probably have trickle chargers, I would be interested on your views on the best one to get with the correct amp rating, float indicator, auto settings, etc. P.S. I will be on the NSW variety Bash in August traveling through NSW, VIC, SA and NT. I will be in and old F100 Ambulance painted Fire engine red, keep a look out and come and say Hi if I visit a town near you. I swear by this thing, kept my last battery healthy that went for 9 years. Cost me $99 some years ago. ![]() Lead 'Hardwired' to bike so when I know I will not be riding withing next few days I plug the bike in. Battery always at its max. Comes with leads from the wall and a shorted one to permenantly attech to your bike. Has rubber weatherproof cover to keep plug protected when not in use. RE: Battery Trickle Chargers - Greeny_SA - 29-05-2009 Yea mate, Ctek , Made in sweden 5 yr warranty. My model 800 packed it in after 3 yrs, my fault, drove out of shed still connected. They replaced under warranty with brand new one, no charge. the mod 3600 is a better unit though. Some nice photos in the replies have helped with how the battery plug hook up works.
