RE: Central QLD - Neddy - 03-05-2009

Hi guys - just got back from a couple of days in Biloela and i saw the backside of a K8 go past on friday morning going past the Apollo Motel, either of you two? Had a good time drove up to Rocky and Yeppoon but i needed the cruise control - couldnt believe the amount of cops in the area, picked the car up from Gladstone Airport and saw 3 marked ones in the first 10 mins - hopefully there are some roads there where you can let it loose, Monto to Biloela wasnt too bad.

Cheers Ned

Welcome to the family to by the way!! Where you from anyway Neddy??

RE: Central QLD - Neddy - 04-05-2009

From Sydney - I'm out injured at the moment but my wife is working at Callide Power Station doing a refurb which will probably go til the end of
May, I just flew in for a couple of days catchup and we had a good look around the place as she works a 72hr week she doesnt get much chance to get out and about - I saw more cops between there and gladstone in a weekend than i do in sydney in a yearLol3

Cheers

RE: Central QLD - VNSVLE - 04-05-2009

Ah i see. Well I hope our tiny little spot on the map was good to you and you enjoyed yourself :). One of the other members is also up here working on the shutdown. Was supposed to catch up with him for a brew or two but he seems to be quite elusive at the moment ;)
Anyways hope you had a good time and will have to come back one day :)
Cheers

RE: Central QLD - Cowboy040 - 11-05-2009

Yes I've been going for the last 6years, it's just out the back of Marani on private land. It's a good fun rally good food and drinks a gymkana and usually one of the best burn out comps .around. There is uaually around 250 people or more, you should try and make it.
