Re: Naked Bike Fantasies - aBUSa - 14-03-2006 Come close to buying one of these, a good jigger in my opion. The only thing I didnt like is the fake alloy frame sections they bolted on, otherwise tops. Probably not as refined as your Honda Rocket. Shayne Re: Naked Bike Fantasies - rev 01 - 15-03-2006 Naked donks = pain in the arse to clean Remember the good ol bad ol days Still, I'd rather ride a Kawa than any Honda Respect - ressac - 18-03-2006 I meant no offense Rod, I was just very enamoured with the busa after getting off the TLR. For me riding is about freedom, and I think the busa enables freedom in that you can pretty much dial in the speed and it is so. There is no waiting or requirement to work the bikes engine to get to a ludicrous speed. Also, the drive out of corners was not paralled by the TLR. I could put the throttle to full lock without any concern on the TLR, something I would never do on the busa at full lean (gear selection dependant obviously). I just thought you must've missed the power of the dark side when you switched to the VFR. I know you can ride the shit out of anything and many a sports bike enthusiasts has been humbled when trying to follow you to Clampetville. I therefore support your comments and indeed if voted PM would mandate it as law that we should all have at least 10 bikes! Apart form that, I'm heading back to Melbourne after Easter, only for a short stay though. Heading through the mountains camping on the way. Brining the busa in for a service and some tail raises. Thinking about high comp cyclinders and head work with a Yoshi 4-1. Also thinking it might be too much Re: Respect - AstroBusa - 18-03-2006 I agree Rocket... you can't beat those Xerox girls.... (I'd use the drool icon, but its not coming up for some reason). The older I get, the better I was. Regards.... Rob Groupies - BUSGO - 19-03-2006 Hold that Droool Astrobusa! The Gold Coast Groupies win in the end. (if you get my drift) I can't claim these to be my groupies but I did take the photo. Rgds BUSGO "TAKE MY ADVICE" I'm not using it anyway! Re: Groupies - AstroBusa - 20-03-2006 Busgo.... I have two questions. (1) Just how close did you get ? (2) Can I buy that lense off you... ??? Yes... they are very nice, but I'm still voting for the Xerox girls. Beautiful bottoms they may be, but theres been too many times in my life where I've been walking behind a woman with the most beautiful arse - in my head, the fantasies are running wild - then she turns around !! Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. So unless I see the front, I reserve judgement. The older I get, the better I was. Regards.... Rob Re: Groupies - rocket rod 7777 - 20-03-2006 Yeah,im with you on this one Astro, there is a lot of false advertising around sometimes. And to answer your question,Nutsack, yes if i owned 10 bikes, the busa would be in there somewhere. Phuck its the Phantom....... There's the V-4 thing - there's just something about it that inline 4s don't have, and V-twins have too much of.Edited by: rocket rod 7777 at: 20/3/06 7:45 am |
