Down here Kawa we have a thing called V.C.A.T. It's a civil arbitration tribunal & handles disputes such as the one you are having. NSW must have something similar.

I know a few blokes who have used it successfully against businesses who thought they were untouchable..........Icon_box_

Consumer issue with a mechanical repairer, smash repairer, engine specialists, auto dismantlers etc ?

For example "Hi my name is John, I have a complaint against an automatic transmission specialist. I recently had a gear box serviced, ever since I got it back, the gears punch when they change. Can the MTA help me?"

answer is:

You will need to contact the Motor Vehicle Repair Industry Authority as they are the governing and licensing body for all repairs on 02 9712 2200. The MTA is an employer association and provides services to MTA Members who have licensed businesses in the motor industry.
