WA Rego Increase - A^K^T - 22-10-2016 Has anyone had their first bike rego renewal since the $100 increase has been added on ? Just paid my first car rego and it's gone up by $113 , $755 for a V6 Commodore wagon With two cars and two bikes it's a $400+ a year increase for me. RE: WA Rego Increase - Hayabusabike - 22-10-2016 RE: WA Rego Increase - duc13 - 22-10-2016 Yes have had a couple already with quite a few more to come unfortunately. I think it's good we are now covered but think it would be fairer to put the increase on your licence. After all I can only ride one at a time. Not enough money in it for the government then though I suppose. RE: WA Rego Increase - Rev004 - 22-10-2016 I'm hearing everyone we have 3 cars and 1 bike and couldn't believe it when the bike was nearly 400. Oh well like the other have said a piece of mind if involved in a serious accident but I do have to agree with Duc though it would have made more sense to put it on our licence. But there might be a silver lining though because my insurance for my missus car was 100 bucks cheaper than last year. Cheers Rev004. RE: WA Rego Increase - Shordy - 23-10-2016 It looks like WA is starting to catch up with the rediculous prices charged here in SA. I pay $137 per quarter to register my bike. $548 per year if paid quarterly. They do offer us a discount if paid yearly though. Brings it back to $475. Lucky us. Don't even start me on car / ute / trailer / boat / jetski prices though. RE: WA Rego Increase - busarat - 23-10-2016 Just be great full that you don't live in NSW around $800 for 12 months RE: WA Rego Increase - ricks_1969 - 23-10-2016 I think I should move over to WA by the sounds of this, my Busa is due for rego next month, just received the paperwork this week, (RMS $125 + CTP $739 = $864 total) and that was the cheapest option, the most expensive Green Slip Insurance (Compulsory 3rd Party...CTP) would have been a total of $1163 I'm in Sydney :( RE: WA Rego Increase - shorty - 23-10-2016 If you have lost any points off your license that works against you too. Some of the insurance companies slam you with an extra (up to) $250 on your CTP if you have. I'm pretty sure that GIO was the only one that didn't when I last registered mine. Yes that's correct, however I haven't lost any points at all, that's the best price I could get, like you say if I had lost any points at all it would be even dearer than this :( RE: WA Rego Increase - Kendo - 23-10-2016 RE: WA Rego Increase - shorty - 23-10-2016 RE: WA Rego Increase - Kendo - 23-10-2016 RE: WA Rego Increase - Camel - 24-10-2016 With my Busa, the family car and all the cars I need to subsidise so my kids can drive around, I'm f****d. RE: WA Rego Increase - Rev004 - 24-10-2016 RE: WA Rego Increase - Batfink - 24-10-2016 I guess it's not to bad down here in Tassie then LOL rego (includes CTP) 2013 busa = $594.38 2011 Lancer= $576.38 2015 Foton 4x4 = $576.38 TOTAL = $1747.14 insurance (full comprehensive) 2013 busa = $625 QBE 2011 Lancer = $570 Swann 2015 Foton 4x4 = $720 QBE TOTAL = $1915 |
