Moooahhaahaha, the conversion has begun.....jks.

Pull the secondary throttle plates ASAP and get a power commander. The 08's have improved low-end but you still need to take the plates out. With just those mods she will pull like a wild bull...trust me.

Congrats on your new ride.

As I think Busgo asked, it'd be interesting to hear WHY you decided on the Kwaka over the Busa etc.

Thanks guys for interesting feedbacks lol some crappy ones some nice ones as expected:) Its all fun
Ive had hayabusa since I was a teen been thro few and still love em crazy but this time I wanted to try something else and since my dirt bike accident my back is no good and I get less pain riding with zx14, I would say zx14 is much more comfortable to ride well for me than the busa.
I know lots of guys argue that one is better one is slower one handles better and so on but honestly guys they are very similar and performance wise I dont see any difference between the k8 and zx14. Im not a crazy rider and just take it out every weekend if I get the chance well any busa riders in sydney who like to go riding with me on weekends Im more than happy to come along as long as we can be mature about my zx14 haha.

I thought the only reason a Kawasaki rider would be here would be to say goodbye.

Edris... as the saying quite rightly goes.... "To each, his own". Then again, there's the other saying which is "One man's soup is another man's poisson". (No, that's not a misspelling, its French for soup).

What does all that mean? Well, it means you have the right to go out and buy whatever bike you want and we'll still want to be friends. We'll still ride with you and we'll still look forward to your posts and you'll always be a valued member. We of course reserve the right to disagree with your impeccable taste and you have to expect some bias and a bit of ribbing - this is after all a Hayabusa site.

I've seen them up close (even a rare Red one... I think it's the only one of its kind in Oz... which looked... err... less displeasing than the other colours) and I've ridden one and I've been on the road with them.... and I've had one thrash me off the lights (well, he was trying, I was muttering "try-hard" before the lights even turned green and then I hung back to see if he'd drop it... and bless the little fellow... he almost did... lol) and I've often wondered... as an ex-Kawasaki rider.... would I go back?

No. Sorry. Not in the least bit interested. To me.... its butt ugly. Side on it looks like Kawasaki couldn't decide how to finish it off, so they picked suggestions out of a hat and it has that patch-work quilt look about it. Front on, it looks like a mutant spider. From behind, it looks like it has rear-facing cannons strapped to it. Now, I know that sounds like I'm being unfairly biased... and you'd be right in thinking that. But I'm allowed my opinion... and that all this is. My opinion. I'm not knocking your choice. If you're happy, then I'm happy for you. I am fully aware that some people think the busa is the most ugly bike ever. I've had them come up to me and say as much. Thats fine too. Thats their opinion and they have a right to it.

They just happen to be wrong. Hayabusa

hey enjoy your new wheels, I dont mind the look of the 14's looks more the tourer to me and top heavy. but sure were always wanting a change every now and then, me personally am happy with what I got even if it is coming up to 9 yrs, oh gosh. ive never kept a bike longer then a couple of yrs due to boredom, but the bus still keeps me interested.

Im the first to admit i ride an ugly bike, hey, i even joke about it with my mates. But ive got to agree here that the 14 is awful to look at. Ive not ridden a 14 & im sure its a great & comfortable bike, i also struggle sometimes on the busa with comfort. But with the same visual mods done as whats required to the k8 busa the 14 can look good. We all know the 14 can pump out the numbers on the dyno & to some thats all that matters. Well done edris, im sure youll love it. At least ya got the good color ! all imo of course

Astro actually mate poisson means "fish" I know I'm here in a french only speaking country trying to learn how to order food.Coffee

My best mate rides a black blinged up ZX14with pipe and PC and its a great bike - IMHO an equal to a stock busa in most regards and better in some, he's always there close behind with a big grin on his face every ride and thats all that matters. No match for the turbo bus tho LOL.

Nice choice mate variety is the spice so they say, enjoy it and treat it with the respect it deserves.

Happy days and fugg what everyone here says. Grinners are winners
