Remapping std ECU on the dyno
#1
..all went extremely well, no codes , no faults after 5 hrs on the dyno in total...including switching in and out AUS and USA Ecu's...no difference basically same 10,800rpm limiter on the dot,
Bike completely remapped on the F1 tables ( individual cyl fuel tables can be used ) and real simple...Early days as this ECU has so much capability including map switching on the fly etc etc etc etc...there really is alot that can be done.

Will update with pics later on..a credit to Wayne at Tuneboy.com.au for all the coding and the user friendly front end...

...none the less early days

Very good news Garry.
Can't wait to try it out.

Great stuff Gary!
Is it a plug and play type system or does the ECU need to be modded?
Guessing it uses the existing Tuneboy Software.
Would be keen to hear if he can make it work for the GSXR600 as well

I am guessing that support for the Hayabusa ECU is still in beta testing , any idea on when it will be available and what years they will cover ?

Current testing is on 02-07busa .and there are some kawasaki models that use the same ecu.
trying to source an 08 ecu also

Wow, this Petrik dude isn't even a software engineer!
Can a 32bit ECU & wiring loom swap straight over to replace a 16bit '00 one? - ie no extra sensors (assuming that sensors have same signalling range(?)).

Would be a project I'd like to do.

Yes mate you can just swap ecu's.......BUT you will need the rotor from a 02 and up as well (has external pickups). I've done this myself when swaping from 99(harness swap) to 01 to 04, rest of sensors and stator are the same.

What is this rotor you are referring to? Not the brake rotors.

Crank rotor/generator
the 8 bit 99-00 ecu wiring is different
the 16 bit 01 ecu wiring is the same as 02-07
the 99-01 rotors are the same then changed in 02
Makes the 01 16 bit a half step to the later stuff.
