High fuel consumption
#1
I wrote last year talking about my new busa only getting 200km to a tank on the highway when it should have been 340km. Turns out it was a sensor in the airbox that reads the air temp that was faulty. This info from this sensor determines the air fuel mixture and the bike was running way to rich like it would run first thing on a winters morning. Funny thing is is that the plugs and pipes looked fine. Anyway I'm back to 340 km per tank. At legal speeds on the highway anyway. So if you are getting poor milage this might be something to look at. Suzuki have been informed from the shop I had the work done at.

Hi there,

There was documented evidence of people moving the air intake temperature sensor into the ram air duct as after a ride on a hot day peoples bikes would not start with the sensor in it's existing location.
