http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170191459068 i just took off the two screws from the seat and the two screws from the gas tank poped it up and fitted the tank bra but its not fitted like the photo...im moving it here and there but still hard to get the neat look like the photo
The Gen 1 tank bra fitted straight on by lifting the tank and sliding the bra down around the tank.
It was a very tight fit and you need to get it balanced all around for it to go all the way and fit neatly.
I don't think there would be any need to remove the tank to fit one.
You better make sure they sent a Gen II bra and not a Gen 1 one.

@bugso i have both the gen 1 tank bra since i took it off my 02 model a few weeks ago and im selling it and i now have the 08 tank bra and on the pack it clearly says its for 08 busa
you can clearly see its the 08 if you click on the photo you can see the code its the one you mentioned above Bugso..i guess i have to fit it again ,the gen1 tank bra was a piece of cake to put on the gen2 tank bra is a pain in the ass
I'm not sure where ur fitting problems are with the Bra, quite often if it is left out in the sun or run a hairdryer over it the wrinkles will disappear and it will mould around the tank. The Bagster tank covers are the same and can be a bitch to fit properly in winter. If u use a hairdryer, low setting, wave it over the cover, the trick is to just warm it, not melt it.!

I'd rather be riding my Hayabusa thinking about God than sitting in church thinking about my Hayabusa
Getting the bras to fit right is a matter of putting it on slowly and evenly.
They are a tight fit.
I don't suggest trying to melt it on.
I had wrinkles at first on my Gen 1 bike with the bra but over a few months they just about disappeared.

I have same one. There is a strap about 1/4" wide, it fits on real tight all the way around the front lower pressed seem of the tank. Try that. It works.
I have a problem with wrinkles sometimes too. Discussions on bras tends to sort the problem out though. Don't know about the hair dryer - sounds a bit extreme, and painful.
