Question on K&N Filter

Hi All,

Can some one tell me if there is any soft beading attached to the KNN filter - where the lower end touches the airbox.

Yes the filter comes with a foam gasskit that has double sided tape on it. Peel it off and install your filter

I think some of the older didn't come with the foam, they may have changed height of the new K&N filter in the newer ones by a about a mm or two then put foam on them to give it a good seal, we tried filling a older filter to a lated model but it didn't want to seal up very good as an older one ???
