Raz requesting some help

I received an email from Raz requesting some help. Whilst Im always willing to offer a hand in helping another fellow busa rider out, I had to ponder whether to oblige him on this because of some comment made on his email. So I couldnt decide whether to oblige his request. I decided that I will oblige his request but will post the entire email, so anyone may judge the content for themselves.

Since I am banned from the forum & Jays says you have some history issue with me, I wonder if you could post on my behalf??

Yesterday evening, I put down my new girls busa. Long story, but pretty much done a few ribs - worst problem being it wasn't my bike that went down & I wanted to post up asking if anyone here in Aus might have left side pannel and perhaps a bikini fairing, but of course I can't.

I am asking this because I do have access to the database but I dont want to do that & Richard also gave me all the email addys for all VIC members, but thought that might not be a good way either.

Let me know if your willing to do that.

I replied to him yesterday evening asking what colour panels he needed but havent since had a reply.

As you can see from his email why I wasnt sure whether to oblige him, due to his comments indicating he has access to our database. He is not nor ever was an admin, nor webmaster. So his so called "access to the database" means via "hacking". Which indicates a veilled threat even though he adds "but I dont want to do that". Nor has this been the first time such veilled threats were made. In IT this is an extreme matter that could even be reported to the authorities anyone making such threats. Such a person not only could face criminal charges but could be blacklisted from any IT work in Australia or the world for that matter.

Nevertheless if anyone can assist him with some panels please email him directly. No doubt many of you will want to make a comment on this matter, but I am loathe to put it to public debate and therefore will lock the thread. If you have a burning desire to comment you can do it in PM.

I should also perhaps point out one thing regarding his comment of "accessing the database". It may simply be his poor choice of words. By using the word "database" which is the word used referring to the entire content of a website, ie whats behind the front page of the webpage normally accessed by Cpanel that only the webmaster has access to.

Had he have said accessing the 'forum', that could be by registering another name on another IP that I am sure he has plenty access to and thereby posting his request here. Which may have been his original intention. Thats not to excuse other times I have received similar threats.
