Well, I for one don't get my kids off the ex until later in the day so rather than sit around and pout about it, I created a new Christmas tradition a few years back of going for a Santa run.
For those who don't know, the Road Warriors Cafe is open Christmas morning from 8am until noon for coffee and cake only. I'll be up there from around 9.30 until 11 am.
So, if your kids are all grown up, or a long way away or if you're like me and you don't get them until later in the day - or at all... c'mon down and cheer yourself up with a ride and a coffee.
Theres also a Christmas Eve dinner at the Road Warriors this year. Starting 8 pm Christmas Eve. $20 per head. Everybody welcome. Bring the family... show 'em where you disappear off to on the weekends.
p.s. - No, I don't work there, I don't get a bonus for numbers etc. Just thought some of you might be interested.
