Really short notice. Doing a pretty casual cruise\newbie ride on Sun (tommorrow). Leaving from my place at brighton at about 9:30, up to BP burpengary at 10:00. Dunno where we are going, probably Woodford, loop back to esk, have a feed at lunch, then back maybe via willowbank or beaudesert back to southside, then home up the highway. Prolly finish up about 3 or 4 o'clock
Great for noobs - no racing. Shane 0410 228 246

My brother is coming for a ride. First half decent ride on his new bus. He hasn't posted up yet.
Couple of OSB people coming too.
CYA if I CYA.
. C'mon girls!!! - beatiful weather, good perv at byron.
You are lucky you missed this one. 5 bikes, 3 tickets. ( yep, I got one ) 2 for overtaking undercover on double white lines, 1 person with us was on a 600 on a 250 license. ( she also got tagged by a ute that drove off on her way to BP for meet-up - scratched zorst and knee, and had whole set of keys in ignition and they came off somewhere. )
Now I am going to get drunk.
Shane,
Sorry to hear that.
CEE the post about Shit Creek.

HA HA HA
Wonder how much them paddles are
Yeah Tom, he was baiting us a bit.
he was way over on the Lhs of his lane when the double lines were there and slowing down he nearly got both LH wheels off the road shoulder - kinda asking us to o/take him. But you can't fight shit like that, better to cop it sweet and be done with it. Just lucky it isn't double demerits for hols. yet. Probably won't be on the bike 4 the next couple of weeks though.
Son's of bitches!! - I had a good think about it after reading your post tom, I got set up and fell for it hook line and sinker.
BE VERY CAREFUL OF THIS TECHNIQUE GENTS AND LADIES.
Our officer had a Winnie the poo sunshade on the back window so we couldn't see the In-car vid!!!
Now I feel very stoopid. Edited by: m8ee at: 9/4/06 6:58 pm

I'll just bet the undercover was being obstructive. was very nearly caught by one of these pricks on the Maleny range recently. only just noticed the video on the dash of what looked like a work ute. dribbling along were there were double lines then speeding up where it was legal to go around. fuggin entrapment in my book but allowed in this bullshit enforcment regime.
Tom
OH MY GOD, thank F**K I didnt come to that ride I would have got thrown in jail
Yeah dude, you better go and thank your mate for sleeping in!!
thats no good Shane bad luck mate glad i stayed home and did the family thing as for Pete's comment just think us all lucky it wasnt happening the last time we went to Byron we would have all been in Jail and just think this was a noooooobie ride with slow speeds Cheers Bill

Speeds were OK, my choice of overtaking places was the problem.
