Yep you didn't read it wrong.
I just picked up a couple.
They are ex track tyres that have probably done 20 or 30 laps.
They have some beading from heat on the shoulders but I am sure once on the road all that will even out. Top of the tyres are like new.
Bloody real good deal in my opinion.
Vel is your contact if interested. He is in the Taylors Lakes area in Melbourne.

How much is left on the edges , not much point me buying them as tracktires if that bit is gone.
also if anyone is interested in new i have 3 Diablo wets 180 s , there a bit harder than i want for my trackbike $120 .
Maj,
To me they look like heaps left.
From what I understand they have just the fast track wear superficial heat marks which would ride off after a few thousand..
I will post an update in a few weeks.
Getting back fitted Monday or Tuesday
no good in the wet.Ask rev.
michelin are notorious for having tyres with very little cold grip.Be careful on cold or wet days.when warm they are great. If you don,t ride that hard why choose a tyre with poor cold grip, you're never gonna heat them up?Try lower pressures perhaps 34psi perhaps to heat them a bit quicker.Remember all tyres lose their cold and very hot grip first and their warm grip last as the oils dry out of the tyres through heat cycles.Semi track tyres don,t handle as many heat cycles and a generally designed for perhaps 6 heat cycles and perform at their best.Just be aware of this when purchasing so you can stay safe.My 002 bridgestone is the so called street compound is crap when cold.

Just had my front PP 2CT replaced under the recall, just a reminder for those that havent done it yet.
Copper/
Silver -
The original, the rest are just copies.
pilot power, 2 compound Pete. they run a harder compound in the middle of the tyre to give them a longer lifespan without sacrificing corner grip.
im not a fan of michelin tyres but it really comes down to personal preference and riding style
no these are 1
the 180 tyres he has are 2 compound Maggot
