Can't put a number on it because it depends on a number of variables like year model, wear on basket etc. But it will make the slip action progressive and predictable. Non welded can bite (mine did) and worn assemblies can exhibit a hammering effect, usually first felt when drag launching. Put it this way, it won't slow you down and may save you some embarrasment at the traffic lights.

Its very simple welded allows you to practice with a consistent clutch.Unwelded doesn,t,one minute its great, the next its deadly.I picked up a tenth with a billet hub and brock cushion kit(essentially reverting to 99 spec with heavy springs),on the first night.Don,t expect to ever to consistent sub 1.8 sec 60 ft with a stock clutch. So if its an earlier model, weld it or billet, fit some heavy springs and slave cylinder support and enjoy your launches. My accelerometer tells me 0-97km/hr in 2.03 seconds.Try that with a stock clutch.
