hi everyone have just got back from seeing my bike was at work on wednesday had to go to the doctors pinched nerve in my neck ..
asked my boss who has a open bike licence to put my bike away ..
have been of work for 3 days got a phone call from him saying comming to see me today sat..
he looked as if some one had died the he told me  he had crashed my busa.. when putting it away at work... DAMAGE front gaurd , right side fairing, right lead pipe & muffler, right passanger foot peg mounting point, carry rack , bar ends,  rear lift point, left front fairing , bar end, and both mirrors .... now all this so called happened when the bike had to be moved no more then 15-20 mtr to the work shop... now the damage/scratches runs the full lenght of the fairing ???   so no riding for me for some time

Shane

There is nothing funny about that Shane. Some mate you got there. Is he going to take care of it?

So he's coming to the party with full repairs or excess payment I guess! Trust no-one, not because of their intention just (lack of) ability. I dunno, some people who never experience power want to get in hipo car or bike and twist it hard...total idiots. I've had numerous cars and bikes been riding for 20+ yrs, own a busa and even I don't twist it hard unless the environs and opportunity suits it.

What about the increase in premium because of the claim - who's gonna pay that?

i find it very hard to beleave he was going as slow as he said ...the right can has bent over far enough to mark the rear plastic gaurd & bend the lead pipe plus put a kink in the right can.. if it was not my BOSS he would be less most of hes teeth

Shit mate it looks like he gave it a boot full and it took off without him and flipped down th road Dont worry about the excess payment make sure he covers you for the insurance rise you will get also That is bad luck mate but just think you might get a all black one i have seen bikes with less damage getting written off these days
