Burnley Tunnel Warning! Melbourne
#1
Well guys got a suprise today from Australia Post, with one of them blue penalty notice. Got booked for 67 and I repeat 67 riding the bus in that bloody tunnel in the flooding part reduced to 60 kmh, from a camera, that I always thought was head on, evidently no longer. Fine $105. I heard there was much complaining on the radio re. many getting this fine and the exhorbitant amount being extortioned. They should increase the speed limit to busas limit, as who wants to be caught there in flood.(yes your worship, well I thought it was a good idea at the time)

Hey, those that wanna check those reflector plates, you know where to go.

I might look into contesting this when I have enough info.

But you have all been warned....at my expense.

67 sux Volvi, at leat you coulda been busted for a decent speed :0

I found out you can't go through the E-Lane on the Sydney Harbour Bridge ... seemed to work OK the first 2 times ;)

I think the trick is to tailgate a bus ...

Volvi, all the fuss is not re speeding fines, but the fines issued for people who travel without an e-tag or day pass.

However, yes, 60 sux, and I too thought the cameras were head-on...

Fox - you could always argue that you were mistaken. You thought the e-lane was for busas, not buses....
