Yes, I'll be there. Myself and nine other bikes from Young will be riding down.
Hopefully the weather will be a little kinder this year. Look forward to bumping into some fello busa riders. Regards

Saw 2 busa's over the weekend parked at the track plus mine & mate's so a bit thin on the ground. The conditions just before they scrubbed the second race were atrocious with horizontal rain & a twenty minute downpour that "drowned" out conversation in the tin roofed Champion's Cafe!
The AMCN expo tent was a god send for a break from the conditions, well done to all ! The brolly birds deserve a medal for getting out there in that shit as well !!!!

Bloody Victorian weather.
12 bikes left Young NSW on Friday morning heading for the island. Two blokes wouldn't speed so it took 10 and a half hours to go 724km - we did the Black Spur. Put my tent up in the dark with gale force winds and pelting rain. Friday night and early Saturday morning my tent collapsed and everything i owned got wet. Saturday morning after breaky i packed up my tent and my wet clothes and headed home. I left the island at 2:30pm and i was at home in the shower at 9:30pm. 7 hours to do 764km. This included 3 fuel stops and a 20 minute dinner stop. Not bad going, it was one of the worst rides i've had, rained almost all the way. It took me most of Sunday to recover from the 17 and half hours i spent on the bike. I'm glad i made the return trip when i did as the weather only got worse. On my way down i saw 3 busa's, at the island i saw 2 and on my way home i saw 4. We all decided that next year we will ride to some place up north and watch the races on TV. One thing i must say about Victoria is they have the best roads in the country. They might have shitty sign posts and dickhead drivers but the roads in Victoria are second to no-one. Question: What is the go with the toll at Melbourne. I took the western ring road to the Hume highway. It kept saying i was on the toll way but i didn't have to pay any money. It was difficult to read the signs as it was raining and i had my dark visor on. Cheers.

If you are on a bike you don't pay a toll.Theres no way
i would stay at home and watch it in TV.One wet weekend not to bad out of how many times its been at the island.I'll be back next year.I saw at least 7 busas down there maybe more but not sure if they were ones id allready seen. The busa still gets a lot of looks.Had it parked in Cowes Thurs night while we had a meal and when we came out there were 6 guys checking it out.

G'day
I bet that the 600 supersports race was the best ! It sure looke good on foxtel. Pity the weather was crap for the Superbikes though. A brilliant ride by Edwards to take the win in Race 1. What happened to Frankie?...They should stick Mladin on that thing. I reckon O'l Frankie boy is over the hill. Also a big BOO to Gilesy for not fronting for the Australian Superbike race......BOOOOOOOOOOOO Can't wait till next year. Maybe they should consider moving the round to a drier place.....like Perth !!
