I have three weeks of no bike. I had a minor surgical procedure on my back/shoulder last week, and everything was supposed to be fine. Things were not quite as they should be, when we were in Jindabyne (and those at Jindabyne sort of knew what was going on, hence my posting of this at all!) Anyway, I have a post-operative infection deep in my shoulder, and another two operations later, the medico-types have told me in no uncertain terms that I am "forbidden to get on that thing" until I am totally recovered...

You should see if Mrs De' can hire you one of them electric carts the old farts use just to keep your hand in. They even come with the little orange flag!
