CENSORSHIP!!!!! and DOUBLE STANDARDS!!!

A little birdie whispered in my ear, that on Friday night a post placed on the The Australian Hayabusa Club Discussion Board (the ‘other board’) was unceremoniously removed by the self appointed ruler of that kingdom, Boss2 – I think that is called “CENSORSHIP.”

The next day, fearing a community backlash, the censor launches a lengthy rhetorical post (which apparently keeps getting edited) claiming “crap” as part of his defence in trying to justify his actions to the stunned flock who immediately appeared uneasy about such unilateral undemocratic law enforcement.

Only a few weeks ago that very same ruler/moderator/censor was banned (temporarily) from this board for continually posting inciteful comments here. His disgruntled cries of FOUL! and shouts of “Hitler and Nazi style CENSORSHIP” can still be heard echoing to this day – I think that is called “DOUBLE STANDARDS.”

To the person who placed that post, or to the clever little birdie who claims to have copied the entire text (hope it’s true) - PLEASE FEEL FREE TO POST IT ON THIS BOARD WITHOUT FEAR OF CENSORSHIP.

so whats the big deal that your post was deleated??? did it annoy you that it happened to you ???
gee les could that birdie that told you this stuff actually be you ??? or was that the other personality.

I am thinking of saying something busababy but the more I think about it the more I guess it isnt worth the tuppence. I must say that I had a discussion going with you about performance filters and I may have used strong terms about you misleading the general public (only because I feel strongly about things like that) but it was not a personal attack, but I must say that you HAVE dragged Boss into it when all I said was that his mods did the trick ( and I know it is posted all over and it may be general knowledge but he still did have to TUNE THE DAMN THING!) and that relates directly to know how, when you claimed or rather implied him to be nothing in the world of mechanics (I think you said 6 months experience on Busa's).
Were you childish? IMHO I certainly think so. You should have just continued the conversation with me instead of involving others. Oh, and that post you talked about on the other board...yeah I read it but now it reads as if you put them up to it. I truly hope that was not the case but I fear that the first impressions may be true. You know, whilst I have been involved in this club I never heard anything bad about anybody (even after having met Pete) but one conversation with you and you seem to have sprayed more than one person with spiteful remarks (ironically all these people share your supposed passion for motorcycles). I remember sometime ago when another club member (Volvi I think was his name) made a derogatory racial remark (something about aboriginals, I wont repeat it here) and some people on this board thought it funny. I'll tell you, being black myself, that did not come across well, for Volvi or this board but I still allowed for human discrepancy and took it in my stride. But it seems that his board is participated by persons of differences which seem to culminate in feelings of hatred and bad mouthing. Bravo, for this is obviously the state of affairs in this organisation of tow wheelers.
I'll tell you what .... I will allow you the grace of freedom of thought but I will ask you of this question. One question that personally affects me... When you claimed I was mouthing off, how may engines have YOU modified successfully and seen a 70 - 180% power increase?
