Hi all,
Talk about spinning @#%$!!
This idiot who owns a Suzuki GTI 1.3 Car. Spent $80,000 on the car to make it faster, handle etc.
He now also has a red Busa and has recently put a turbo in it. Claims to have 280 Bhp, Why did he do this?
Answer:He says "Because a standard Busa is to slow for me, my car is faster than a stock busa".Ha Ha..
What a Tosser!!!
We found out that he is capable of 10.7 down the quater. Sure that's fast but $80K to get it there?
He can't do a top speed of 320kmh.
Busa is capable of 9.6 or less down the quarter and we all know what top speed it can do.
What @#%$s me the most is that he has put all this crap about the busa and how its too slow on the
Street Performance magazine!!
Now I know why I don't read that mag, too much crap. No real stats in the write to match his claim.
Lets hope we don't have to many GTI's trying to chase us after they have read the mag..
Keep riding,
Busa owner..
Is the article on-line anywhere that you know of?
G'day,
No, I have not seen it anywhere on line at present.
I was at the local bike shop at lunch time when I saw the mag on the counter.
I found out that he rides the bike to local bike shops and tells them how a standard busa is too slow.
What a tosser.
cheers.
Part of the problem is being able to ride it. I can not ride a Busa to it's full potential. There is only so much throttle that I dare to give it. A car, well, as long as you are good at aiming it, it is a lot more straight forward. Hit the pedal to the metal. I can probably get close to the maximum potential out of a four wheeled vehicle, but on two, I stand back and watch in awe at those who can consistently do awesomely quick times. (We are talking strip times and straight dragging - I understand that taking a car around a track in minimum time takes more skill). I am not saying he is not a top rider, but "I" would probably find his car faster than a Busa , but a top rider shouldn't.
I can't believe that idiot, talking about a f...ing car and comparing it to the fastest bike ever and he's spend more that $80k on that piece of @#%$, The boosa does under 10 seconds stock, just get one of those guys from Mak II video to talk to him,
they'll tell him what real power is, What a waist of a mother ship if that guy is the owner of a Hayabusa, he doesn't deserve one. It's @#%$s like him who rev up their hoted up crappy cars against bikes at the traffic lights and have no idea what they are up against.
G'day,
Regarding your comment about taking more skill to drive a car around a track?
Based on my exp, I have raced in Super Street, prodies and a production porshce. I can honestly say riding a bike round a track is way more skillfull.
I had the chance to speak to Wayne Gardner when he was racing cars. I asked hime which is harder to drive and which gives you more adrenalin?
His comment was that a bike is much harder to handle and take around the track. Power wise was like sitting on a chair (car) and hoping on a horse (bike)..
cheers.
You have no argument. What I was trying to say was that there is still skill required to take a car around a track, as there is with a bike. Straight line dragging, on a bike still needs a lot of skill, but in a car, skill may get you a couple of extra milliseconds, but almost anybody can make a car hurtle in a straight line.
Hi there,
Yes, you are dead right mate.
take care..
If it's so much easier to drive a car round a track than a bike how come Wayne Gardener did SFA in touring cars? *LMAO*
g'day,
Who knows, perhaps it takes some getting used to the transition from bike to car?
But the real question is, Why move from the most extreme, most kick arse racing motorsport in the world, to one of the most boring motorsports in the world?
cheers
second at bathurst/ yer gardner cant drive you musthave been the only one in front of him
& gets paid to drive em in Japan? Must be real ordinary.
Come, on.. Wayne is an Australian Icon and a brilliant bike rider.
Come to think of it, I have never seen a Car racer stop racing cars and begin racing bikes at a high level and have good placings, such as second at Bathurst...
Cheers.
