No probs mate I drive/ride past Eagleby twice a day now for around 6 months Just give me a list of what you really want checked out and I will look at other things for you also I will make sure i note every missing screw and plastic fairing clip that might be missing cant have a fellow Busa club member only buying 1/2 a bike now can we Cheers

bill jsut check the ussual like cct and the like. also chck the frame and swing am for me please just not to sure with that powder coated frame also could you have a good listen to the motor(he wont allow test rides) just to see if it all sounds right as its a big block im not sure if the motor is going to be. could you also just check for general road worthiness he said he will supply a road worthy but yeah. oh and the engine number and vin just to confirm what he gave me, cheers mate ill owe you a few beers or so. im hoping it all checks out. oh and my number is 0424656433 if you need anything else cheers

Travis Heap...ah yes i remember.
I tried to get info about this bike when this dud was living in nth nsw.
I sent an email asking basic questions and he was not exactly helpful when providing any answers.
I got the distinct impression that he has been jerked around by quite a few potential buyers at that stage. Which is fair enough but give each potential buyer the benefit of doubt.
But...
I was not going to all that way up nth to find out that is a pos.
The bike has been for sale for 12months+ and has dropped in price by a few grand.
It is/was an ex team NZ "superbike", I think one of the 2 that raced at bathurst in 00 or 01.
IIRC it has been dropped (hence the painted frame) but for the money it will be an excellent base to build a decent weapon from.
If possible, whomever checks it out, could you please post up your impressions of the bike here?
At the very least, you'd want to do a roll on test against another busa with similar gearing to assess if it does have the performance it is claimed to have (or pay for a dyno run).
In the original add I think the dyno figure claimed was 190hp+

good luck if you decide to buy it. I envy you. I had a buyer for my gixxer 10months ago (when I first enquired about this bike) but I am not in a position now to take that plunge.
