maxton monster mile

hey guys i don't know if anyone here has heard of Maxton ( its an unused WW11 concreate runway in the states used for speed trials well only reciently 3 guys running turbo bussa's set the fastest standing start 1 mile ( 1.6km) speeds ever even beating the top fuel cars ( that have run Maxton) 1. 238mph (383 kph) 2. 231 mph (371 kph) and 3. 224 mph (360 kph) thats from 0 to 383 kph in one mile wow and they are gearing up to try for 260 mph ( 418 kph ) these are stock bore and stroke busa's running mostly stock parts absolutly wicked the busa rules the zx12s could not get anywhere near them
anyone know of a similar place we in Aus could use for a similar venue ???
