You got it Bigshow! But there's more than a colour change though.
There going to put the crust for brake pads instead of the cheese...
Might even replace the cam chain tensioner with a manual one. (Save some of us the trouble of changing it)
But, if they'd only fix the poxy clutch. High fives to be had with that one. Get rid of that back torque limiter clutch. That's only for guys that don't use the rear brake.
If they'd see some advise from guys who ride the big cheesecake we'd sort the barge out.
No speed limiter for a start, and how does 340 klm/h sound? This list could go on for ever...
Cheers, Phil. Riding because I love cheesecake.

I have been hearing/siting very brief news (one sentence reports) on a potential busa killer coming from Honda in 2005. The problem is when I tried to find out more about this the news thread evaporated and I can't seem to find anything else about it. All I got was that the Superhawk/Firestorm was going to come out as a V4 and have more power, torque and speed than the 'busa.

I also heard that Suzuki will try to defend it's honour in 2005 with an all new Hayabusa.

Does anyone have any solid news about this stuff or is it all rumour?

If any manufacturer could do it Hondas could. But will they? As we all know, "talk is cheap".
2005 sounds about right to trade up to me though. An all new Cheesecake, sorry I mean Hayabusa. Bring it on.
Cheers, Phil. Riding not talking.

Just checked out that site GDY and they have the new colours for 04. Silver/blue and ......... black/purple. I seem to remember when the Kwak ZZR1100 came out in black/purple. The next year it was made redundant by Honda's CBR1100XX cheesecake.

Colours have various meanings, depending who you talk to, but I found these...
Black - negative, imminent danger, regressive
Purple - humility, need for greater effort on behalf of individual

Hopefully a 2005 Hayabusa will respond to the threat! If not, I wouldn't mind a V4 powerhouse. Imagine the sound....

Find out the meanings for the God awful 99 copper/bronze colours Ressac. That could open a can of worms. Whoops I think I just did...

Yeah,well...they`re all having a crack at it,aren`t they?

Kwaka tried....and couldn`t quite cut it

Trumpy tried.....the `blu-tack` gave way and it all flopped b4 it got started.

Shit!!..even BMW have now got visions of grandeur ( they`ve really gotta be kiddin`,eh?)

So who`s next?...Royal Enfield?...Vespa?

Oh...and when the `04 litre class crowd start their annual "My-Dick-Is-Bigger-N-Yours" merry-go-round of tests/comparos,you can bet they`ll also be throwin` their respective hats into the ring.....
.....all trying to dethrone the mighty cheese....errr busa !!

So until it happens (considering all the `rules, regs, restrictions etc now and in the future) I for one will be sitting quite comfy and cocky astride `THE`benchmark.

Cheers,Franko, ridin`and still searchin`for that elusive Busa killer

Hehe Phil,

Copper - Yup thats the one you saw advertised everywhere - the original ugly un-restricted beast - all the others are just copies and restricted cheesecakes.

Ouch! Ya got me Volvi.
Don't forget I also had an unrestricted 99. The Red/Black. (The other, other white meat!)
Still reckon' the one I've got now would be faster.
Got to admit in a moment of confusion I almost liked the copper/bronze back then.
Cheers, Phil.

If you reckon that blue thing is quick GDy, I want a crack at your shoulder pain killers

Copper owners are like those night club blokes who for a desperate want of a bit of company decide to G.U.E. (Go ugly early) Red/Black is the go, so the groupies tell me

Can't wait for the next ride day Volvi.
And pipe down Rev. When was the last time you saw me in your mirrors? Change that lousey sprocket and you might have a chace. .........................................
Also you know the shoulder pain killers are okay for riding. (Unless they mix with latte, then all hell breaks loose!)
Cheers, Phil.
Riding and mixing with the Albert Park social set.
