Speedohealer & MotoFx

Am looking into getting a speedohealer I see MotoFx are the distributors and in NSW, anyone of them or connected to them? Lot pricier since last time i looked now $160+10 freight.

Hay Volvi I see speedohealer now have a remote button makes it possible to recall and reset the Top Speed Memory even while you are riding .That realy sounds like a safe thing to be doing, (*_*) NOT. But thats why the unit costs more$$$$ i think.
Recall--- top speed after you have a blast and your back in the pits or some were safe, Is a good thing.
Better than looking down at instrument panel at warp speed.
And from the customer reports it sounds like a good gadget.
With worn tires & a sprocket change who knows what the speedo should be reading . might pay for itself if it saves us from just 1 spd cam fine. Edited by: LARDASS at: 19/10/05 2:41 am

Giday Gazzer If Volvi doesnt buy it ,I might as i am about to
fit a 99 instrument panel into my 03 & i dont think it will read
the right spd. Gazzer does yours have this spd recall
remote button ?or suzuki wire plug in harness cable kit?, (saves time on install & the need to cut and join wires i think.

Lard you can have first dip am in no rush still have a while before i need one when my supersprox stealth sprocket arrives from the UK. Im going for a 43.

Mine doesnt have the max speed recall nor the dedicated wiring plugs, its approx 1 year old. It sounds as though Speedohealer have updated the specs. When I bought mine I think it was $85US plus postage, and at the time the "Yellow Box " was either $100 or $110US plus.

I have written to MotoFx and have invited them to make a special offer to club members here on the board.

I can't recall what I paid, but my model has a speed recall, but only by pressing the small button on the unit. The remote button would be better, BUT, when pressed, the speedo needle just flies around to the max speed and drops again. Just like the action when you turn on the key.
So basically useless for judging a top speed really. Novelty value, but if they come with that button now, well, so be it.
Easy to set up and works fine.

Problem with the new and old unit is that they only display top speed once and then reset to zero. So better get all of your mates together for the once only show.

Got the same model as Bear and it was $150.
