Just goes to show you how bad the stupid Australian car driving public really is. I'm sitting at the lights, in neutral, waiting for them to turn green, when the woman in front of me in her Toyota Corolla decides that she's in the wrong lane, and if she backs up a bit she can change into the left lane. I saw the reverse lights go on, so i started walking the bike back, but she gasses it, straight up onto my front tyre and into me. I yell long list of obscenities at her and she stops and pulls forward.
The damage, Me, one cracked front guard, and one suspect front wheel. Her, bumper pushed in about a foot. When she gets out of the car, we get classic statement #1. "Oh, I didn't realise you were there" (You didn't look), followed by classic statement #2 Oh, I'm not insured. f***!!!
How can you miss a purple motorcycle sitting behind you with a 100+ bulb in the headlight. The thing's also purple, which sticks out like dogs nuts. She evidently didn't miss it.:">
And to top it all off I've got superbike school Level 1 and 2 tomorrow. Bike handled OK on the way home so I dont think she bent the forks. They look OK. I'm going to pull the front wheel out tonight and give it the big check over.
Well at least she had a gold license. (Like that means a great deal)
