Sad weekend Blackkat was sold (can't ride everything I suppose) thought I share some photos with you.







New owner decided Nos was too much so I still have the setup. Hey that xr50 looks pretty quite there I wonder !!!!

But what is it? or was it.

At first glance I'd say 750 katana. . . BUT

Back in the 80's when the Katana was king, (through my drug and alcohol induced haze), I seem to remember that the gauges on said Katana were speedo and Tacho in one overlaping dial.
And the motor was definitely air cooled - you know, with all those cooling fins on the motor(not to mention the radiator)
And it was silver if my memory serves me correctly-although that may just be me .

Later, they brought in a wimpy model with pop up headlight,
but this aint that.

So blue bottle not withstanding. What is it?????

My condolences to you also BlackKat as I love these things!

Nice Bike, looks like a whole heap of GSXR1100 parts went into that baby, motor, swing arm and forks not too mention the nitrous, that would have been a fun ride in its day!

What sort of times was she good for?

Spot on Shayne Gsxr1100 ,

145hp na + 60 =200+ hp

low 10s to mid 9s

Was a fast bike? Still is a scary fast bike.
