ok, this is pathetic but I never had my Bus open through the 9k rpm range...'til last weekend. I been doin some loops (for those who know ACT: Bugendore Rd, back up Mac's Reef rd to the Fed Hwy)...well gassed it up outta 2nd joining Hwy and goddamn! dem-dare RS3's never sounded so good! I was surprised tho' the front end got pretty light 'cos I got some head shake thru the bars. Nothing dramatic but oscilating gentle shake/flick left to right, shut down pretty early at ~230. Is the slight head shake norma l under accel? Probaby at the 2-3 gear change I felt.

Check your tire pressure, also what brand and how worn are they.
Shake caused by acceleration with the front wheel just touching the road is more of a Yeeehar i'm alive, not like a harsh headshake that feels more like
what the boyz have said - however if you bought is second hand - maybe get the front end checked ;) "Busa riders always count in three's.... 100, 200, 300"
All of the above plus string line front and back wheels.
The front will move around when it gets light. Bruce
N2O no laughing matter
Also check wheel bearings and headstock bearings as well as front wheel balance.
So many options.....

I'm not using it anyway!
All of the above + check to see that the steering dampener has oil in it, mine wasn't working too well on air till I filled it with oil.
will check dampner, bike has 4k kms up., OEM tyres, 41psi checked b4 ride. I guess those feather-weight alloy, polished bar-ends I just installed won't help either. Are orig bar-ends heavy to combat numbing vibration? Mark

I do believe that Suzuki made them heavy for a reason thats why when I made the nasty pointy ones i made them out of good grade Stainless for the weight factor they would have been heaps cheaper to make out of alloy Cheers Bill

A bit more dampening in the rear shock + the above. Cheers,

are we talking about the same front end shake as Bills avatar ? New Page 1RegardGrantKing of Stealth Blingwww.blingpartsaustralia.com.au
NO Grant,
It is more like this.
Personally, I'd just ride slower and enjoy the view.
