Yes Tommy... I'll be at Eastern Creek for the last round - but not for the racing. Attending a wedding thats being held on the start / finish line at about lunchtime. Two of my friends decided it would be a good place / time to get married.

Ain't love grand....

(Footnote : Love is grand, its marriage and the crap that comes with it that drags the whole lot down. What ? Me bitter ! Never ! ) The older I get, the better I was. Regards.... Rob

very romantic setting for a wedding Rob- sounds like just the thought of being married brings a tear to your eye.

Mrs Twosheds made the point that its a good thing the supers & the show are on the same weekend that way i can get to the show friday & eastern creek sat & sun- don't get down to the big smoke too often these days.when you live in paradise you never want to leave

Friday night would be a good one for the bike show and then the Superbikes on Saturday and Sunday, but I'll probably see you at Maccas

As a first timer to the motorcycle show and unfamiliar with the showgrounds, will there be a specific area that any members will be parking? The wife and I will be going on Saturday.

On the side street next to the show there is a specific bike parking enclosure - costs $5 i think.

We all parked out the front of the show last year, near the front door with 100 odd other bikes.

You wouldn't F@#$ing believe it, on our way to Sydney, on Friday Morning, not 20 minutes from home, I got rear ended at a stop sign by a complete moron, who had even stopped behind me first! The F@#$wit hit me on the right side as I turned left, totalled the stainless Yoshi and laid the bike on its left side, damaging the underseat fairing, the indicator, the left side fairing, the mirror, bar end and snapped the clutch lever. The transfer case is also cracked and is bleeding oil. Looks like the right side pillion peg mount is bent as well, so I'm a little worried about the swingarm, but we'll wait and see. I'm OK, not hurt at all, but by F@#$ he knew I was mad! It took all my strength not to start jumping up and down on his bonnet or dragging him out of the car.

The absolute worst of it all is that there is not a mark on his piece of crap Honda CR-V pretend 4WD.

Still made it to the bike show (by car), enjoyed it, took some good photos and will be back next year.

Probably had the mobile phone going at the time or something.

I hope the bike is just bruised and not broken doggda.
